Qixi festival is here and let's give an applaud to Tantai
Jin being wingman for Ye Qingyu and Pian Ran. Haha. I didn't even know he'd
care to do so. So many sweet moments for our 2 couples. Experiencing the
festival together, Ye Xiwu still cracks me up with her cheeky ways by
convincing Tantai Jin to buy masks with her only to have him pay. This
girl!
The biggest highlight is the dance sequence of Ye Xi Wu and
Tantai Jin. It was beautifully chilling watching Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi
gracefully take the stage and build that connection. Not to mention, the
beautiful masks they were wearing that matched their outfits. It could be its
own Cinderella ball like moment. 😍 But Tantai Jin is back at it again
with the sweet words after frantically running away from the citizens once they
realize he is the emperor. Never escaping that paparazzi life, I see 😅. In yesterday’s episode
he expressed his thoughts about his feelings. Today, my man understands
sympathy! He truly is improving but gosh darn it, Tantai Jin’s definitely not
making this any easier for Ye Xiwu. She knows, we ALL know, he’s still got the
evil bone in him. I understand her wanting to tell him the truth but of course,
another disruption would stop her from confessing. Hello drama land! 😂Not to mention, that kiss was so
abrupt. Maybe Mingye and Sanjiu spoiled us a little bit too much. 😅
I guess the disruption was okay though because we get what I wished for, XL x TTJ fighting once again! 🔥🔥I swear I stay simping over these 2 together. 😂 Xiao Lin's also in black this time! 🥵
In an
attempt to save Bingchang (🙄), Xiao
Lin tries to assassinate TTJ but ouuu I swear this girl is plain ruthless. This
whole scene was a hot mess of trickery. Lol. Firstly, YBC sends XL a letter to
trick him into entering Jing kingdom to rescue her. She thinks this will help
her still be on TTJ’s good side. But homegirls also got her own motives. It was
annoying as heck to hear her inner monologues as she tries to decide which card
to play depending on the successor of this plan. But it made for this funny
scene that had me cracking up:
And the we finally find out the truth, YBC stole Pian Ran’s love threads!!! Just when you thought their couldn’t be more to this woman. 😠
Second, TTJ used
this as a trap for XL to admit defeat because he knows XL will never cause his
people any harm since killing TTJ will only bring chaos. What a powerful verbal
exchange from TTJ. But the biggest blow of this whole scene is the biggest
reveal of our 2-face snake, YBC! TTJ did not hesitate to let her blow up her
own cover while Xiao Lin stood behind the pillar to watch. Whew! ya’ll we were
in for a ride. But I’m so glad everyone’s going to find out about her! Bring on
Ep.24, I need that closure too lol!
