TTEOTM Ep. 21 & 22

    Wow! What a whirlwind of emotions. Feeling some whiplash 😅A lot of emotional damage in Ep.21 but then we’re patched up in Ep.22 with the sweetest confession. LMAO. This show is making me a mess.

    Tantai Jin’s style of humor is special. He runs to instantly hug her when he finds out she’s snuck into camp with Pian Ran’s group but then immediately tells her she smells. 😂💀. You killed the mood Tantai Jin. But a small yet endearing moment came out of this. After the smelly comment, Xiwu changes into an outfit that matches with his. In a Xianxia world, this guy still manages to do couple outfits 😂. He’s so happy they’re matching. I love it! 💖 These 2 kill me with their funny banter.

    But sweetness ends soon because ya’ll that sequence in the Sheng kingdom. Gah damn! Hit me in the feels. Dirty tricks were used but also a well-deserved revenge on this damn king. They done took his mama’s bones to use for this dumb witch craft spell. Ouuu! I swear anything family always gets to me and this definitely had me boiling. But I swear I’m starting to love all of these grand entrances from Tantai Jin! 👏 I’m glad he finally wiped out the King who even had the audacity to tell Tantai Jin that he’s ungrateful to Sheng kingdom. Bruh bye! My heart broke when that dumbass spilled the mom’s ashes. 😭💔 And of course, it had to of just start pouring rain right at that moment. R.I.P to his nanny Yingxin is all I got to say. 😥

    YBC is quite ruthless. She lost all my respect when she threw her maid in front of her to get stabbed. I’m done. Then she latched herself onto TTJ the minute she saw him. 🤮 I understand she’s just trying to survive but she’s going about this the wrong way. And now, TTJ is bringing her back to camp. Just great. 🙄 

    Open the box of misunderstandings once again everyone! Ye Xiwu tipping Xiao Lin of Tantai Jin’s actions definitely hit his insecurities again. Back to square one. TTJ is reminded again that YXW still cares for XL or so he thinks. While YXW is reminded once again of her mission as TTJ tells her about the massacre. Honestly, this argument between them was amazing! I mean Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi brought their A- game. The acting and emotions were so intense. I was in awe watching them argue. My heart was pounding. The verbal exchange was out of impulse but man was it good! Xiwu seeing the Demon lord inside of Tantai Jin was thrilling. Not to mention she instantly lost 3 spikes which she worked so hard to obtain. Let’s up the anti again!

    I have no clue what Tantai Jin’s plan is to keep Ye Bingchang by his side but she’s full of herself for thinking that she can trap him. Worse yet, Tantai Jin is her brother-in-law. The thought of that just makes me 🤮. The audacity of that women to ask Xiwu if she would stop her from taking her last straw of survival since Tantai Jin liked her first. Disgusting! But here we have Xiao Lin whose still impartial to her despite hearing of her whereabouts. Just why Xiao Lin?! I may have not agreed with his decision for the battle but he’s still so sensible. The kingdom is in shambles yet he still blames himself for the fate of the people. Nah, we all know it’s your brainless dad’s fault.

As we step into Ep.22, the turn of emotions has come again.

    Pian Ran and Ye Qingyu’s relationship has improved! They’re more apparent with each other but I can’t stop laughing at Pian Ran using the term “momentary pleasure”. I don’t know why but it sounds funny to me. Maybe it’s because we know that she’s lying to herself by saying that. I understand she’s protecting herself since she has no love thread but Qingyu don’t care. And of course they finally do give in to each other. 😏 Shout out once again to Tantai Jin for helping these 2 by giving Qingyu the antidote to cure her. Let’s see how these 2 go!

    As for Tantai Jin, his own relationship has gone back up again! Despite making me confused and a bit annoyed about Ye Bingchang, we finally see he don’t care for her as she thought. Pure satisfaction! He put her in her place real quick. 💯(*his eye rolls have been such a mood 😂)

    I don’t know if he was trying to make Xiwu jealous out of anger but it definitely worked. Lord, how many more headaches can I get with these 2. Misunderstanding and miscommunication highlights their relationship. You would think they learned a few pointers from Ming Ye and Sanjiu or something. Luckily, she learns the real truth behind Tantai Jin’s actions in Sheng Kingdom from her brother. I wish it was from Tantai Jin himself though. I mean he attempted to visit her but home girl was packed and ready to go. That dandelion reference was sweet but come on guys just one of you take that extra step please so we don’t have to keep going in circles. But since the truth is revealed to Xiwu, that confession was such a sense of relief after the whole misunderstanding because of YBC. She apologizes for being prejudice and he finally expresses his true feelings as it’s taken him some time since he never knew feelings. Ya’ll he’s getting to experience feelings!! Isn’t that just quite sad to say? 😅

    Of course, drama land will never let us sit in ease. Even with a sweet confession, Xiwu stops us from fully shipping them with these reality checks throughout both episodes. Aiyahh! My heart can’t take it anymore.
