Plain and Simple for today. Di Mian is a conniving bish who I knew was only going to raise my blood pressure ever since he resurfaced back into the story. So much for being a bio dad. These adoptive Immortal daddies are fatherlier than him. Even until his last breath Immortal Qu only thought of protecting Susu. When he came back one last time after getting pushed over the cliff, I was overwhelmed. Like what?! Papa Qu was too kind. I will miss him! π’ I’m so glad he was able to injure Di Mian. A sweet little taste of revenge.
Welcome back box of misunderstandings! I should stop trying to think it’s closed. This time it’s not between Susu and Cang Jiumin. Thank goodness! But it’s worse. Misunderstanding between the hypocritical immortals and Cang Jiumin. Just great. As if they didn’t anger me enough in Ep. 34. Di Mian used this chance to seize the evil bone, kill immortal Qu and frame Cang Jiumin per hearing the plan between Si Ying and Nian Baiyu to take CJM away from the sect. Cang Jiumin can never catch a break and we can never savor a true moment of happiness without uncertainties to follow. Why do I do this to myself?! π I have no idea where Papa Zhao You is throughout this whole predicament but hopefully there’s a reason, he did not have an appearance.
Susu still firmly believes in CJM but even Gong Ye Jiwu is being irrational now. What ever happened to listening for fair judgement?? I loved you so much as Xiao Lin but it seems I must also see you only as GYJW. He went through an identity crisis and was confused about his past that the others knew about. He wanted to be treated as GYJW not the XL that they know. Well seems like CJM is going through the same but no one cares to listen since his counterpart is the destructive Devil God they rather see. What a loop of headaches.
While away with the demons, CJM learns about Nian Baiyu’s real motive and meets with our destructive yet hot looking Devil God. I mean ya’ll Luo Yunxi has not been disappointing at all in this drama in terms of acting. The plot may be messy but the acting is consistent. Even if he’s in the same frame playing 2 different characters, I still felt like it was 2 different people. And those outfits were π₯Devil God don’t play when it comes to costumes. He makes Cang Jiumin look like a million bucks! Seriously love that black and blue sparkly outfit.
I was just kind of creeped out and disgusted by Si Ying’s obsessive behavior towards the Devil God. We find out her reasoning behind the obsession and seriously, it was disturbing to see her touch Cang Jiumin. She nailed that scene but it really was weird. Cang Jiumin’s playing along for now to escape but man is this getting freaky. Everyone’s so obsessed about this Devil God but don’t think of Cang Jiumin at all. Even Nian Baiyu’s motive was selfish. I’m glad Cang Jiumin put him in place. I understand his tribe is at stake but instead of only the tribe the whole world will be if Devil God resurfaces. Let’s look at the big picture everyone! Gonna go prepare for Ep. 37. We’re nearing the end, I’m sure angst is coming. π
