TTEOTM Ep. 31 & 32

*Whew* There was a lot to unfold in Ep. 31 and 32 today. Packed with so many new characters and revelations, the ride to the end is only going to get more intense so buckle up everyone!

Cang Jiumin meets Li Susu’s dad for the first time! But tell me why it almost seems like her dad and the master lowkey want to set them up? Haha. Cang Jiumin says his mind’s not on meeting but little do you know. *Cue the almost meet ups* So many in Ep. 31 haha. On an interesting note, CJM learns from Susu’s dad about the origin of Gong Ye Jiwu and so it seems they do know about Xiao Lin from Pang Yizhi’s quest to revive him. 🤔 Pang Yizhi did a lot to revive Xiao Lin. Seriously have been enjoying so much of the bromances in here. CJM is still eager to revive Ye Xiwu but luckily, Pang Yizhi tells him it’s unnecessary. We all know why. Don’t give up CJM, you’re literally one step closer to seeing her.

            Speaking of bromance, CJM’s conversation with Gong Ye Jiwu about Li Susu was gold. GYJW is troubled by the rejection from Susu. I was quite surprised they went down the fiancée route for XL and YXW. Uh… what? It was heart warming to see these 2 bro's sit down and conversate at peace. GYJW even mentions that he feels like CJM is an old friend who he can tell anything to. My heart! It’s so endearing. CJM telling GYJW the story of him and YXW from 500 yrs ago to cheer up GYJW from Susu’s rejection was indirectly funny. Don’t go shipping your girl with XL again! Lol jk.

            Here we go with the almost meet ups guys! What a coincidence that both Susu and CJM are looking for the book of demonology. Honestly, how interesting would that be if this kind of book did exist. He wants to learn how to gather YXW’s soul but learns more about the Demon lord. She wants to learn how to seal that devil bone. But of course, as he puts the book away, she takes it from him on the other side of the shelf and quickly runs off. He also only sees her back. Isn’t it just an ironic moment that they’re on opposite sides of the book shelf and didn’t hear each other. And he chases her only to stop mid-way because she’s gone too far. Later he sneaks into her place to find the book and then hears her playing the harp outside. But what happens? Seconds before he arrives, the evil bone acts up making her leave. Oh, my goodness! Tell me you’re watching a drama without telling me you’re watching a drama. 😂

            I swear Pang Yizhi is good at setting things up. When CJM walked in on his sect brothers playing the devil vs. God card game created by PYZ, I just knew there was more to it. CJM’s learning more and more of this Devil God. Seems like everyone knows but him. I’m guessing this information is supposed to help him in some way to understand but also find out how to deal with it. Who really knows. I just know CJM a.k.a Tantai Jin is still in denial that he’s the fetus.

            The whole demon collecting game plan was something else. I don’t know if I missed it or what but I still don’t understand how the demon lord’s assistants were able to hear the plan of the Immortal leaders to lure them into the Shangqing realm. Whatever it may be, we’re in for a ride because the leaders have no idea the refining bone is in there. And not at CJM flashbacking to the dream arc of Ming Ye and Sang Jiu once he hears of the Shangqing realm. Oh the memories! Even Li Susu was reminiscent. She sauntered all the way back to the wedding hall during the game. Mhm… hard to let go of that.

            Once the competition started, it felt like watching a real video game with the way CJM and his sect brothers entered. 😅 CJM had his own plans to find the beautiful Susu that everyone keeps mentioning so he can ask for a drop of blood. But Yue Ya’s trick to disguise as Susu with the magic was a blessing in disguise! CJM saves her from that one creepy annoying red outfit dude making me almost think she was going to fall for him but *whew*! She actually helps lead him to the treasure he’s been looking for, Susu! They FINALLY met guys!! but again, dramaland would have it cut right when they meet. Luckily, Ep. 32 was aired right after. If not, I would have flipped some tables. 😂😂

Ep. 32

And the reunion continues! Right at the exact spot Ming Ye and Sang Jiu got married. Well, isn’t that going to trigger some old feelings. Don’t be in disbelief CJM, it’s really her. You’re not seeing things! She can deny it all she wants that she doesn’t know you but the heart wants what it wants. Honestly, the best part of this meet up was CJM’s trick that caught Li Susu off guard to admit that she still remembers the past. I mean really, he got all of us! 😂 Quite clever of him to retell the story of Ming Ye and Sang Jiu to her since she claims it’s her first time to ever enter that place. Then he ends it off by inviting her to go find Xiao Lin. BAM! That got me good. The minute he said that, I instantly thought, WAIT! What do you mean by Xiao Lin?! I was so dumbfounded. She instantly realized her mistake but it was too late. You did it, CJM! You found your Ye Xiwu.

            But that fight scene CJM has with Si Ying to protect the bone refining seal was 🔥🔥 That red umbrella was whoo! So amazing to watch. The whole time I was so nervous because Si Ying doesn’t know CJM is the devil fetus. I kept thinking will anything happen to CJM because he’s so close to the seal and it definitely can detect its master (CJM/TTJ). Low and behold, it finally does recognize him towards the end of the fight. 😬Just great. Now Si Ying knows who he is and the lord of evil in the Barren abyss is able to succeed in his plan. Fortunately, Susu is here for the rescue! She instantly denied him but it’s hard when things like this are going down. I was so excited to see her back him up and try to calm him down. You can tell even CJM was unsure of this seal’s abilities. But sorry guys, I laughed a bit too hard when the seal released from his body and fell to the ground. Another video game looking moment. 😂 I’m just happy Susu was able to help neutralize him. That head touch moment was so sweet. They’ve finally connected (literally) after 500 years. 😍

            Di Mian is back and is Susu’s real biological father. I would have felt so awkward if I were Susu. Plus, that’s a lot of information to take in. She quickly accepted him like it was nothing. It’s sweet though that her harp she’s had with her since birth is her mom, Chongyu. I just don’t trust that Di Mian guy. Too shady! And of other origins, Ye Bitchang… I mean Mo Nv is here and she’s Si Ying’s sister? Guess she really did have evil in her all along. Mhm. What a surprise. NOT!

            It’s annoying that Li Susu is still trying to deny that she doesn’t know or remember Tantai Jin but I’m glad he went back to confront her. He pushed her buttons and got her to admit once again that she does remember him. That she does have Ye Xiwu’s memories. She says its for the best and wants to follow the heartless way to obtain her God status. Well, doesn’t seem like it’ll work girl. Heart wants what it wants and it wants Tantai Jin. LOL. She knows it too or else she would have never gone to clear things up with Xiao Lin errr… Gong Ye Jiwu. Darn characters! 😂. Hang in there Cang Jiumin! 💪 Susu will come around.
