Meanwhile, Chu Kong is tasked to go through 7 tribulations of love to repair his weakened primordial spirit from an incident 30,000 years ago. Intertwined with Xiangyun, Chu kong selects her as his tribulation partner. Thus starting the 7 trials of love for our fairy and War God.
